The Downshire Hill Residents’ Association serves the community of this historic Hampstead street, fostering neighbourly connections and representing residents’ interests to local authorities.

I designed and built a bespoke WordPress website that gives the association a welcoming digital home. The site communicates the DHRA’s core aims—to welcome, support, and represent residents—while providing practical resources including the association’s constitution, AGM minutes, and committee meeting notes.

A particular highlight is the news section, which features well-researched articles exploring the street’s rich history and artistic connections. Posts cover topics from the area’s Georgian origins to notable former residents, accompanied by artwork depicting the neighbourhood by painters including Constable, Sickert, and Algernon Newton. The site strikes a balance between community practicality and local heritage, serving both as a noticeboard for residents and a celebration of this distinctive corner of Hampstead.
