Adel Rootstein founded her mannequin company in the 1950s, pioneering a new approach to retail display by sculpting recognisable figures based on real models and celebrities. Her mannequins of Twiggy, Joan Collins, and Yasmin Le Bon became icons in their own right. The brand was acquired by Bonaveri in 2019.
I designed and built a bespoke Webflow website that honours Rootstein’s distinctive heritage while marking its new chapter under Bonaveri ownership. The site tells the story of Adel Rootstein’s pioneering work through a rich archive section, showcasing legendary collections from the 1960s through to the 2000s.
Current collections—including the reimagined Twiggy 2020 and Yasmin 2024 ranges—are presented alongside the brand’s history, creating a bridge between past and present. The design captures the artistic, editorial quality that has always distinguished Rootstein from conventional mannequin manufacturers.
